This new kitchen in a Grosse Pointe Shores home involved a complete re-thinking of the space. Walls were removed; doors and windows were relocated; wiring, plumbing, HVAC, flooring, cabinets, appliances, lighting – all are new and improved for a discriminating homeowner who needed a space to match her extraordinary abilities as a cook and baker.
The old kitchen was a tiny space with no connection to the rest of the house. Now the kitchen has a dining area and is open to the family room. Notice the floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, the tile backsplash and the marble countertop. Photos courtesy Grosse Pointe Magazine.
