A new addition was created that matches the character of a gorgeous French Colonial home in Grosse Pointe.
The pattern of the original stone and brick was replicated to create a seamless transition between the addition and walls of the original home.
Custom wine cellars were added to the living room. In the dining room, new textured interior wet plaster also matches the original finish.
The all-new kitchen space features a large island, white recessed-panel cabinets, granite counter tops, white subway tile backsplash, stainless steel over-sized oven and range, farmhouse sink and dark hardwood floors. The new family room space opens onto the gazebo with its outdoor fireplace and cooking area. The ben fireplace was restored and custom cabinetry was added.
Upstairs, the master bedroom now walks out to an outdoor patio through new french doors. On the third floor, a kids space and exercise room was created with vaulted ceilings.
